Sarika Chauhan- An epitome of women empowerment

Sarika Chauhan, A women with plethora of qualities is a graduate from Patna women’s college, MBA graduate from Sikkim Manipal university and Diploma holder in Fashion design from Patna women’s college. She has been married from 15 years and has set an example for women in Bihar by setting up her business. Women empowerment is the need of the hour and she’s extensively working on it. Despite being married to Chandan Chauhan, SDM of Narkatiyaganj, West Champaran, she took an initiative and worked hard to fulfil her dreams and opened the school. Sarika has two children Pranav studying in std 7th and Naitik in std 6th, it’s a matter of pride that despite so many responsibilities Sarika is also working towards the society. Her husband should highly applauded for this, as being in this patriarchal society he supported her to secure her ends. Women like Sarika Chauhan are needed in our society to empower and inspire the women and to become an catalyst for social change. In the era where women are still suppressed by the society, Sarika serves to be the perfect example of the Baton holder.
